PATOKA, Ind. — Indiana conservation officers are investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred last month on Newton-Stewart Road on Patoka Reservoir property.
The investigation found that the accident happened when the driver of a pickup northbound on the way to the Newton Stewart ramp had a trailer tire went off the road as the vehicle was going around a curve.

The trailer had a pontoon boat on it with people in it. A 52 yr old woman who was riding in the boat when it was ejected from the trailer was taken to the Bloomington Hospital in Orange County to be treated for her injuries.
